An EMS collects and analyses data from the car’s electronic and electrical components, including the ECU (Engine Control Unit), crank and cam angle sensors, throttle position sensors, air flow meter, oxygen sensor, coil pack, ignition, BCM and DFI modules, air temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor and fuel injectors.
When there’s a problem with your car, the ECU logs a fault code which we can retrieve with a system scanning tool, providing us with a wealth of information about its performance and any faults it’s currently experiencing.
